Do you have a walk-in store where I can see the products before purchasing?

Our business is 100% online-based and we do not have a walk-in shop where you can come and see the beads and findings. Orders placed online are sent within 24 working hours to many destinations in the world. We do not have a physical shop or warehouse where you can come and see the goods. All our products can be found together with an accurate description and pictures in our shop. Please ask us if you need more info or additional pictures. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all the most common forms of payment including credit/debit cards, bank transfer, Revolut Pay, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple pay. You can also pay in cash if you are collecting the order from Drogheda, Ireland yourself. Please do not send any cash or cheques by post. We accept absolutely no responsibility if they are lost or stolen on the way.

We do not have any access to your payment and bank details. These details are encrypted and go straight through to the payment processor and never stored on our website. The only information we see is what is needed to process and deliver your order, i.e. your name, address and phone number.
I am having trouble during checkout and cannot complete the order, can you help?

There are several possibilities and no single answer for this. If you are getting three consecutive asterisks as an error, then you have selected a product that is currently out of stock or you have selected a higher quantity of a particular option than what is available. In the checkout screen, you can see three asterisks (stars) next to the affected product. Please amend the quantity accordingly. If you get any other issue, e.g. access issues or PayPal issues, please send us an email or a message and we will reply ASAP.

Kindly note that for various security reasons, older browsers/ mobile phones are not supported by our website. You might also be blocked if you use a VPN, if your browser has spying overlays due to malware or if you are trying to load the website in an external window.
Why is PayPal charging me for currency conversion at checkout although I am located in Ireland (or the EU) and my currency is Euro?

There could be various reasons:

- If you are using a VPN service to hide your IP address, PayPal might think you are located outside of the Eurozone. If so, please exit the website disable VPN, clear your browser's cookies (through your browser settings) and try placing your order again.

- If you are trying to pay with a Revolut card (or similar) via PayPal, make sure that your funds are in Euro and that PayPal has access to Euros and not Pound Sterling/Dollar. If the problem persists, please try a local credit/debit card or select a different method of payment, such as bank transfer. If you have a Revolut card (or Apple/Google pay) please select the corresponding option rather than using PayPal.

- Make sure that the country you select (can be a little flag in the PayPal Credit Card entry field) reflects your country.
Howcome am I being charged in Euro at checkout although I selected GBP or USD in the shop options?
Our bank account is in Euro so we have fixed the payment currency to our default currency. This way we avoid payment issues during checkout where sometimes credit cards are rejected because the order value and converted payment values do not match. The good thing is that you, as the customer, also save money because your bank usually offers better currency conversion rates than Paypal and other payment service providers.
What products do you sell at kolibribeads (Kolibri Bead Supplies)?

We sell beading supplies for jewellery-making. Our selection includes glass beads, crystal beads, wooden beads, seed beads, round beads, square beads, sterling silver beads, plated beads, metal beads, stainless steel beads, acrylic beads, alphabet beads, beading cord, knotting cord, macrame cord, leather cord, faux suede cord, nylon cord, pearl knotting cord, lobster clasps, spacers, sterling silver findings, plated findings, pearls, fresh water cultured pearls, pins, eye pins, head pins, aluminium chain, steel chain, silver chain and the list goes on!
How do I order from your website?

- Search your items from the dedicated shop search box or through the menu.
- Add your items to your shopping cart.
- Click on checkout and enter your details and any coupon /gift codes.
- Pay conveniently with your card, gift coupon or select pay via bank transfer or cash on delivery.
- You will then receive a confirmation and your items will be shipped on the following day.
If you have selected bank transfer or cash on delivery, we will contact you personally with a confirmation that your order has been packed and is ready for collection or payment.
What are your delivery options?

Standard post, registered post, DHL Express or UPS Express. Kindly note that you do not receive a tracking code for standard post.
If you make use of the free shipping option, your order will be sent uninsured by standard post. No tracking number can be provided for free shipping.
Can I order over the phone, via facebook or by email?

Do your metal products contain nickel?

All our metal beads and components are regarded as "Nickel Free". This does not automatically mean that they contain absolutely no nickel but rather that their level of nickel is equal or below strict levels governed by EU Regulations and Directives. If you are not really allergic to nickel, you should not worry about the levels of nickel in our products. Nickel is a natural element, which is added to metals such as steel in tiny amounts to make it shiny and bright. Unfortunately we have no means of testing products and have to rely on labels and on what we are told by our suppliers/manufactures. For this reason we also get our products from renowned suppliers/manufacturers such as Beadsmith, Beadalon, Griffin, etc.
Do you deliver abroad?

Yes, we also deliver outside of Ireland. We also have many clients in Germany, Austria, Spain, UK, Italy, Holland, Greece, Malta, Canada, USA, Australia and many other countries.

At Kolibri Bead Supplies, we pack all orders by hand and take them to the post on a daily basis so you can expect fast and reliable postage and shipping. We welcome all common forms of payment including cards, Revolut, Paypal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Bank Transfer and Cash upon collection. No payment-related info is stored on our website. All payment data is handled exclusively by the payment processors: PayPal and Revolut.

Irish (EU) business with international shipping
For orders being shipped within Ireland and in the European Union, VAT is already applied to the eligible items in your basket. You will not be required to pay any import duties or customs fees when your order is delivered.
For orders being shipped to countries outside of the European Union, no VAT and any sales tax will be collected by us. However your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. It is the customer's duty to check about the rules and tax thresholds that apply in their country.
