TIPS & TRICKS:

To start the cement flowing, apply pressure from the center of the tube, pushing gently with your thumb towards the precision applicator. This requires some hand strength, as G-S Hypo Fabric Cement is a thicker formulation.

When using this product, flatten the tube as you go; do not roll. When you are not using the adhesive, insert the cap wire. Clean the needle-point area with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover before closing and storing the product.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Setting Time: This cement and its precision applicator are not intended to join articles with a large surface area. They are designed for precision applications. The cement bonds quickly and completely dries within 24 hours. It is washable. Hand washing recommended. Do not dry clean.

Solubility: Remove excess with a small amount of acetone or nail polish remover. Multiple applications may be required to remove excess, depending on how much cement was used.

Surface Preparation: The two surfaces being joined should be clean and free from dirt. The cement is recommended for porous-to-porous and porous-to-non-porous applications.

Storage: Place cap wire in applicator when not in use to stop the flow of cement. Always clean the precision applicator and tube neck with acetone or nail polish remover before closing the cap. This will prevent drops of cement from sealing the cap to the tube. To close: Carefully lay applicator flat against finger to help guide the cap wire into the precision applicator. Store G-S Hypo Fabric Cement at room temperature. Do not refrigerate, freeze or store in direct sunlight.
